a first time mama-to-be's thoughts, things, obsessions. a little bit of this and that.
I’ve been on an Italian kick lately. I find a lot of Italian dishes easy to make. Ingredients are relatively healthy too!
This is my first attempt at “homemade” pizza. Used my awesome AirBake pan. I put this on our wedding registry since DH (dear husband) loves pizza! I cheated and used pre-made and jarred items. I know the presentation isn’t great. Oh well!
Pre-made thin crust dough.
Sundried tomato pesto.
Grated mozzarella.
Fresh tomatoes.
Leftover chicken souvlaki pieces (also homemade using a tweaked version of this recipe).
DH is coming home late, so I’ll be making the same pie, but will add Italian seasoning, fresh garlic, a little salt and pepper. Fresh basil would be great with this, but I don’t have it on hand. I follow recipes, but eyeball the amount of ingredients.
Easy peasy. Including prep time, you can have this done in under 20 minutes. Pop in the oven for 11-12 minutes at 425F.
